Ghazal-Love immerses all

Love immerses all, so what Being is not love?
If finding such a thing, then you have forgot love.

At dusk the sun weds the moon while the stars look on,
For above even the heavens will have got love.

Why seek outward horizons that can’t meet the sea?
A peace found you at last when within you sought love.

Life’s buoyant waves crashed upon the far rocky shores,
Sadly the sailor that drowned was he who fought love.

Words are vivid thoughts that strike as lightning in the rain!
Flashing so bright that with blindness one cannot love.

Hot forges in this heart burned with thoughts of You,
My soul is the base metal with which I wrought love.

The epidemic spread though man was quarantined,
Faith comes like a healer but he too has caught love.

Shahzadah woos Lailas with his heart’s gentle art!
When God guides his pen, he too has brought love.
