Anthony Edmund Forte is semi retired, now working in his brother’s Residential Home for the elderly in Teignmouth Devon. He learned to drive at 13 while helping at the family ice cream factory in Exeter where his interest in writing and love of poetry began (The Sonnets). National service saw him involved in the Suez Debacle and with Eoka in Cyprus before returning to set up business on his own. His a family man first and last in the true Catholic Italian tradition and successfully raised 8 children, He has been a foster parent for 24 years. He shares a house with his wife and his two brothers.. He has 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. His poetry ranges from Social commentary to love poems to humour. Semper
