Nancy Johnson-Elami is an archeologist of the self, ever digging, ever cataloging, ever writing about, her discoveries. She earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish from Hope College, and was well on her way to her MA in Applied Linguistics when Fate intervened and changed her course. Mother to three (almost grown) children, she makes her home in Southwest Michigan.
