I live in East Lothian with my wife Jancis (three children flown), 
and now write full-time. We spend our summers cruising in our 
yacht throughout Europe and the Mediterranean. I studied political 
science and was formerly an Educational Adviser.

To help explain myself:
I will make a difficult choice between the following non-competing signifiers.
 If forced to choose, it would be the ones highlighted.

Scotland/Greece, Socialism/Marxism, Sea/Mountains, Herman Melville/George Orwell.

All types and forms of poetry give me joy. All my writing is experimental.
