Martha Deed closed her psychology practice in 2000 to write full-time after writing half-time for the previous 20 years.  Recent publications include Shampoo, Death Metal Poetry, Big Bridge, Iowa Review Web (with Millie Niss) and two chapbooks, 65 x 65 ( Peter Ganick's Small Chapbook Project in 2006) and #9 (Furniture Press, 2004).
