The Jar moves to Virginia

It's all about contrast
Not difference per se
But contrast

The darkness surrounding
Light making it lighter
More luminous
More generous

At odds with the dark
But not really

As the near and far of it
Makes me sense the nonsense
Of arguing for a day
About lofty things
Unless I

Can watch a stupid film
About car chases
Or boy meets girl

Or cops tripping on banana
Peels

It is high vs low
When we all realize that now
There is no such thing
Since Einstein put us straight
Or curved us so to speak

Time
Time as opposed to no
Time
At all

Short of time
Plenty of it

Going fast going too slow
ly

I don't think so
So it is all about juxtaposition
And borders placed beside each other

And hot and cold
And wanting her to warm my heart

When I feel apathy and spite
And anger toward the mix
Toward the left and the middle
And the right of it all

Toward the south and the north
And rise and fall of it

Of the sun and the moon
My stars my white glowing
Stars

In the blackness

For an instant
For an eternity

I guess
I know
