Leanne Averbach is a Canadian text and performance poet and video artist.  She has been published and has performed with musicians across Canada, in the US, UK and Italy.  Her first book Fever (Mansfield Press, Toronto) was short-listed for the national Gerald Lampert first poetry book prize in 2006.

Her companion CD, Fever is a fusion of her spoken words and the blues/jazz accompaniment of the Vancouver group, Indigo. The Georgia Straight writes of the CD, "The poems swing from worldly to wild."
