Dee Rimbaud was born in 1962, in Glasgow, Scotland. Both his parents were artists. He started writing poetry in his teens and won the Lochaber High School poetry competition in 1979. He edited Dada Dance magazine from 1984-1989 and Acid Angel magazine from 1998-2000; and is currently editor of AA Independent Press Guide.

He studied to post-graduate level at Edinburgh College of Art from 1986-1991, specialising in Sculpture. Whilst at art school he won an Andrew Grant travelling scholarship to India: a John Kinross Scholarship to Florence, Italy; and participated in an exchange programme, studying for three months at L'Ecole Des Beaux Arts, Le Havre in France.

Since graduating he has worked in community arts, arts development, film & television, and as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer.

His poetry, short stories and artwork have been published in several hundred magazines and anthologies worldwide.

His first poetry collection, ãThe Bad Seedä was published by Stride (1998).  His second collection, ãDropping Ecstasy With The Angelsä was published by Bluechrome (2004).

His novel, ÎStealing Heaven From The Lips Of Godâ will be published by Bluechrome in September 2004.
