Kemp is an Art Director of Interactive Design at Area17 in Paris, France. Previously, at Second Story Interactive Studios he created various websites and museum installations for clients at the National Geographic Society, the Smithsonian Institution and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Prior to Second Story, his work on interactive storytelling and rich-media projects at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Radio 3 garnered awards from Communication Arts, the Art Directors Club and the New York Festivals awards.

Kemp has a B.A. in Creative Writing and Literature from York University and a Post-Diploma Certificate in New Media Design from the Bell Center for Creative Communications, both in Toronto, Canada.

Shooting film and digital, he enjoys capturing his experiences with snapshots and has added a photo for each day since September 2002 to his photoblog (www.intransient.com/photojournal/).
