Tropical storm

The drops
like ephemeral pearls
they detach from the parapet;
dragged by the water
also flowers rain,
nails of rain
pierce through the lawn
that doesn't have any remedy to the storm
and fills with mud.
The birds don't sing,
only the clouds shout.
To snatch to the downpour
only its exactness
and the thirst of the roots.

Tempesta tropicale

Le gocce
come perle effimere
si staccano dal parapetto;
trascinati dall’acqua
piovono anche fiori,
chiodi di pioggia
trafiggono il prato
che non ha rimedio alla tormenta
e si gonfia di fango.
Gli uccelli non cantano,
solo le nubi gridano.
Carpire al diluvio
solo la sua esattezza
e la sete delle radici.
