I was born in  Ardebil, Iran in 1940. I fell in love with classical music and literature passionately at age 12. I studied medicine in Iran, got married, had 2 children and came to the United States in 1971 for specialization in medicine which I did in the field of surgery. I still practice Medicine in Illinois. I am a proud citizen of both America and Iran. I have published a collection of short stories and poetry entitled" inside the lingering dawn" in Persian and presently am finishing a novel  based on Iranian mythology.
