Vietraq

Someday we'll see a movie, Vietraq,
with Bill Murray as George W. Bush.
There won't be much soul-searching but for Rush
Limbaugh, in a cameo, snorting crack
while ruminating how he'd gone back
on drugs. Mainly it'll be about the push
to war, the shock and awe, the great big crush
of troops, Baghdad falling, and then the lack
of cohesive post-invasion planning.
So much sheer lunacy. So much bloodshed.
A few Vietnam shots of men landing
in hospitals, missing arms or legs. Head
wounds too. Then Iraq footage. Bill Murray
plays it puzzled, lost, in no great hurry.
