Ken Waldman has six full-length poetry collections, including As the World Burns (Ridgeway Press, 2006) which has the subtitle: The Sonnets of George W. Bush, and Other Poems of the 43rd Presidency. Over 400 of his poems have been published in such journals as Arts & Letters, Beloit Poetry Journal, Manoa, Puerto del Sol, and Quarterly West. He's also released six CDs that combine poetry with old-time Appalachian-style fiddle and banjo. A twenty-one-year Alaska resident, he's made his living the past decade on tour, working in a wide range of universities, performing arts centers, festivals, clubs, and schools.
