Jack Fulbeck, whose poems appear frequently in periodicals and anthologies, is a professor emeritus of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and president emeritus and lifetime member of the California State Poetry Society.  Related activities include the editing of poetry magazines, writing articles on poetry and poets, speaking at poetry conventions, contest judging, and consulting for such innovative events as An Evening of Poetry and Jazz at the Covina Valley Playhouse.  He has been interviewed on radio and television, and some of his poetry, read from the Challenger Spacecraft in orbit, is now in the National Archives in Washington, D.C.  He is also a longtime member of California's Chaparral Poets and similar organizations.
