Daniele Pantano is a poet, translator, editor, and scholar. He was born in Langenthal, Switzerland, of Sicilian and German parentage. His individual works, as well as his translations from the German by Friedrich DŸrrenmatt and Georg Trakl, have been featured in numerous journals and anthologies in Europe, Asia, and the United States, including The Adirondack Review, The Baltimore Review, Gradiva: International Journal of Italian Poetry, International Poetry, Style: A Quarterly Journal of Aesthetics, Poetics, and Stylistics, and 32 Poems Magazine. He's also the editor of the M.A.G.: International Literary Review (U.S.), HŠrter (Germany), Niederngasse (Switzerland), and Saw Palm: The Literary Journal of the University of South Florida (U.S.). An exile, he currently lives in Florida, with his wife and their two children, and teaches Creative Writing at the University of South Florida and Florida Southern College. |
