Sepideh Jodeyri was born in 1976 in Ahvaz, Iran. She has written poems and short stories since she was seven and as a professional author since 1997. Her first book, Dream of the amphibious girl, a collection of poems, was published in 2000 and the second one, Logical, a collection of short stories, in 2001. She has translated a selection of Edgar Allan Poe's and also a selection of Borges's poems into Persian. Some pink inclined to my blood, Jodeyri's second collection of poems was published in 2007.
