Linzy Forbes is the co-founder & co-host of Poetry Café, N Z's most popular live poetry venue.

He is the publisher of several poetry selections, a novel  and two anthologies. His own work has been published in various journals, chapbooks, anthologies, and texts. His first collection the bearing earth was published in 1990. He has won several awards for his poetry and read as guest poet at various venues around New Zealand.
