Sky Watch

Watch the sky and see my moody
lusterless day discard its shriveled frame
fireworks extravagant as the ones created
for the Sun King in the Court of Versailles
start shooting in the sky

in other words      I feel delight

flocks of birds   bold pattern of wings
jeweled by light are flying circles wide as
the span of love   spur my day to life
pacemakers that keeps the heart happy
in spite of sorrow

in other words      birds mediate magic
