Ala Riani was born 1980 in Kurdistan. She fled to Sweden with her family in 1986 where she lives. Ala has written poetry and created music to her own lyrics since her young teen years. Ala has a collection of poems under the name “Young” that has not yet been published. She is currently pursuing a music career as a singer and songwriter.

Ala has a MA in political science.
